A unique opportunity is offered by my client a top tier European investment bank who is looking to hire a Vice President and also a Director level fund structurer for its London desk. This newly formed team is headed by a well respected Managing Director working across all structured funds. Responsibilities will include the following:

· Origination/ Structuring and marketing of structured Funds- UCITS III/ Fund Derivatives/ Fund Linked/ Managed Accounts and Fund of Funds

· Sourcing, developing and managing existing relationships with managers and clients in order to develop and promote the Alternative Investment Strategies business.

· Structuring and marketing fund of hedge funds/ capital guarantees in CPPI and option-linked products/ equity and fund-linked structures

· Role will also involve development of indices and products linked to hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds and proprietary 'alpha' and replication indices.

· This role interfaces directly with sales and internal marketing and covers the European and Asian fund markets

My client is only looking to hire a number of fund specialists for this role with the following skills:

· Essential to be a fund structurer/ fund linked or fund wrapping structurer with experience of the above fund products

· My client has a strong preference to hire a structurer from one of the top fund structuring teams in the market

· My client has a headcount for a VP and Director level hire but would be keen also to hire any strong associates keen for more responsibility

· This role involves increasing the team’s institutional and retail market share to retail and private banking distribution networks by developing innovative fund structures and strategies

· My client is particularly keen on candidates with equity or fund wrapping skills who can wrap a derivative in a fund format

· Candidates from both investment banks and asset managers are welcome

· Any German or Italian language skills are a bonus
