A top tier US investment bank is looking to hire a Director and potential desk head to cover the Middle East treasury and structured products team in Dubai. The role will involve 50% leading the pricing and structuring of derivatives and 50% sales of these products. Role is as follows:

· Structure and sell profitable derivative solutions to institutional/ retail /corporate and sovereigns and agencies

· Increasing the derivatives structuring and pricing capability across asset classes and overseeing the multi asset sales/ origination teams in the Gulf region

· Role involves marketing and selling commodity/ interest rates/ FX/ credit and high yield products for clients and managing the sales division

· This is a management role and you will liaise with the regional head of treasury to push forward the bank’s local presence in MENA- covering Qatar/ Dubai/ Abu Dhabi and Saudi

· Role will involve driving new product development through innovative new solutions tailored to treasury client requirements

This is a critical business hire and my client is looking to hire candidates with the following skills:

· My client has a strong preference for technical sales candidates who can work on structuring and selling of derivatives to clients in the Gulf region

· My client would consider excellent structurers keen to increase their responsibility on the sales side

· Strong preference for experience of the Middle East market and local relationships with investors/ institutional/ corporate and sovereigns

· My client would like to hire a senior figure either working in the Middle East and keen to build out a new business or equally a strong sales figure in London covering the MENA region out of London but keen to be based out in the Middle East

· A strong network of clients/ deal list and track record in building a derivatives business is attractive to my client

· Highly desirable to be fluent in Arabic although this is not a pre requisite
